Birth of The Nyxian by Amanda .R. Browning

Harlow is a twenty six year old woman left alone in the world after her family perishes in a tragic accident. A chance meeting brings Aiden into her life. Aiden is smart, unbelievably sexy, and chivalrous. There’s only one problem, he’s also an 820 year old vampire.
Vampires have split into two factions. Those turned by choice are full evil, without a shred of humanity left and they live to kill and terrify. Those turned by force, like Aiden, are able to retain some of their humanity and do not need to kill to survive.

Despite the danger he brings to her life, Harlow finds everything she’s ever wanted from life with Aiden. Is one lifetime enough for them, or will Harlow be forced to make The Immortal Choice?
This story is about a young woman named Harlow, who is a very unique and wonderful woman on her own.  Works part time, loves first edition books and anything historical.  It’s also about Aiden.  A vampire who has lived generations as a lonely man on the side of good.

The story starts with Harlow stargazing and an unsuspecting Aiden sneaks up on her looking for a drink but instead finds a woman who captivates him, shocks him, and runs her so deep into his heart(if he had one) than any other woman he has ever met vampire and human.
They fall deeper and deeper but also end up in more trouble then they ever imagined. The story has vampires, harpies, gryphons, love and adventure.  Harlow and Aiden must fight for what they believe in and fight for each other.

The story is so well told that I found myself not able to put it down, and got upset whenever I was disturbed…lol  I laughed with them, I cried with them, and yes, at one point I was literally in tears.  The writing is amazing, easy to follow and so well written that you actually think the story could be about you.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure, love and vampires. I am going to go insane waiting for the next installment…..Gosh I hope there is one…LOL
