Curtain Call: A Death Metal Novel by Nathan Squiers

A promising career in the music industry was on the horizon for up-and-coming heavy metal band, Bloodtones. Even for their non-human members, this is the opportunity of a lifetime! Yes, life was good… until it took a hellish turn. Literally! After a bizarre encounter, Bloodtones' lead-singer Bekka finds herself sharing her body with a slew of terrified beings and in mortal danger from wraithlike forces capable of superhuman feats.
When fans can be otherworldly assassins and every mood-swing can end in an exploding amp, Bloodtones' rock-solid future is rapidly crumbling before their very eyes. What hope do the five have against a force that neither their magic or paranormal members can begin to explain? With no choice but to fight, Bekka and her band-mates soon find themselves struggling for not only their music… … but their very lives. ***WARNING*** This work contains some graphic language and may not be suitable for younger readers.

Ok, Now here we have yet another Nathan Squiers book and yet again, he never fails to please.

I loved this book.  It is filled with everything you could want, Vampires, Werewolves, fighting, death, magic and more.  Even some romance thrown in.  Lots of laughs, lots of intrigue and even some tears if you are sappy like me.

The writing as always is superb, never failing to draw you in and hold you in the story, as if you were really there. You will feel what they feel, and go through the emotions they do. You will want to fight along side them and make sure they are never stopped from fulfilling their dreams.

Then again, take a pissed off vampire over losing everything, a band who is NOT willing to give up on their dreams and some very upset beings who are trying to get back what they think is theirs and of course you have an awesome story.

I promise you will NOT want to put it down until it is finished, and you WILL be asking, no begging for more when it is done.

I know I need more.  I have to know what happens now that two members lives are completely turned around and how far this band goes music wise.

Get this book and you will not be sorry that you did. No matter the cost it IS worth it.
